Monaco based Venturi showed off a pair of electric cars at the 2006 Paris Motor Show, the Fetish sports car and the decidedly oddball Eclectic. While Venturi has much more modest ambitions than Tesla for their battery-powered roadster they plan to kick off production next spring with hoped-for volumes of fifty cars per year. If you think the entry fee for the Tesla is steep at almost $100K, then you can forget about the carbon-fiber Fetish. Expected to run a cool $600,000 the Fetish will have an even more exclusive clientele. The wind-turbine and solar-panel-equipped Eclectic buggy is a more affordable €30,000 but even that is much higher than the average NEV, which is what it qualifies as.
